14 Summer Cocktails for #Adnamsoclock

With the summer of 2018 being more beautiful than we could have ever hoped for, it's the perfect time to get involved with some summer cocktails. From gin to vodka to our Limoncello, there's something for everyone to enjoy amongst these 14 Adnams cocktails. Broadside Buck

35ml Adnams Spirit of Broadside, 125 ml bottle Ginger Ale Fill a tall glass with ice. Add Adnams Spirit of Broadside and a small bottle of Ginger Ale. Stir and garnish with fresh basil.  

Hedgerow Sling

25ml Adnams Sloe Gin, 25ml Adnams Copper House Dry Gin, Juice of half a lemon 12.5ml sugar syrup Soda water Add your Sloe Gin, Dry Gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker. Shake with ice, strain into a highball glass filled with ice, then top with soda water. Swizzle, and garnish with a slice of lemon for a refreshing pink-tinged drink.  

Lemon Meringue Pie-tini

35ml Adnams Limoncello, 35ml Lemon Juice, 35ml Sugar Syrup, 35ml Double Cream. Shake well over ice and strain into a Martini glass. You can decorate your Martini glass with a biscuit rim if you like (dampen the rim and dip gently into crushed biscuits).

Chocolate Martini

60ml Copper House Gin or 60ml Longshore Vodka (depending on your preference) 30ml Dry Vermouth, 30ml Crème de Cacao liqueur Chocolate syrup. In a cocktail shaker, combine crushed ice with the Crème de Cacao liqueur, Copper House Gin and Dry Vermouth. Shake well. Pour a circle of chocolate syrup (the same circumference as your martini glass) on to a saucer and coat the rim of the glass with it. Sieve the contents of the cocktail shaker into your glass. If you've got some chocolate powder then dust some over the top, it looks great!

Sloe Gin Martini

70 ml Sloe Gin, 0-15 ml of Vermouth (depending on how dry you like it) Few dashes of Angostura bitters. Shake or stir over ice until cold. Garnish with a lemon peel and serve in a chilled martini glass    

East Coast Sour

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add: 1 measure of Adnams East Coast Single Malt Vodka 1 measure of Adnams Limoncello, juice of half a small to medium lemon .Shake for 10 – 15 seconds. Add a spoonful of crushed ice into an ‘old fashioned’ or rocks glass and strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with half an orange wheel.  

Sloe Motion

25ml Adnams Sloe Gin, 15ml Sugar Syrup, Adnams Prosecco. Mix the Sloe Gin and sugar syrup together in a champagne flute, then top up with sparkling wine of your preference. Add a nice red berry, a cherry or bramble perhaps, or half a wheel of lemon.    

Moscow Mule

35ml Adnams East Coast Vodka, 125ml Ginger Ale, 2 quarters of a lime. Cut a lime into quarters and squeeze two of your quarters by hand into a tall, straight glass. Then add the squeezed lime quarters to the glass too. Add the vodka and the ginger ale and swizzle all the ingredients together a long handled spoon. Add ice and a slice.

Queen Bee's Fizz

Bee's Knees Sparkling White Grape, Orange juice. Start with a champagne glass filled with ice. Fill the glass half way with Bee's Knees Sparkling White Grape, then top up with orange juice. to equal parts orange juice. Garnish with a long strip of orange peel which is formed into a spiral by wrapping it around a long bar spoon or a skewer.


2 measures (50ml) Copper House Dry Gin, 1 measure sugar syrup, 1 measure freshly squeezed lime juice. Slice your lime in half and squeeze it to produce around a measure of juice - you may prefer more. Add ice to your cocktail shaker, add the lime juice, Gin and sugar syrup. Shake vigorously. Double strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

White Lady

25ml Adnams Copper House Dry Gin, 25ml Lemon Juice, 25ml Triple Sec. Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. For a frothy version add an egg white and shake with the other ingredients before adding the ice.

East Coast Cosmo

25ml Adnams East Coast Vodka, 25ml Triple Sec, 10ml Lemon Juice, 25ml Cranberry Juic,e Flamed orange peel for garnish. Shake all the ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the flamed orange peel.

East Coast Martini

50ml Adnams East Coast Vodka, 15ml Dry Vermouth Fresh Lemon peel twist Stir the Vodka with ice in a mixing glass (around 50 times if using large ice cubes, 30 times if using small ice cubes). The longer you stir, the more the ice will melt and you’ll have a more dilute Martini. Strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.


50ml Adnams Sloe Gin 75ml Cranberry Juice Splash of Soda Water Fill a tall glass with ice. Add Adnams Sloe Gin and Cranberry juice and stir. Top up with a dash of soda water and garnish with a lemon slice.
