It's the biggest two-day agricultural show in the UK, and there's just so much to enjoy. If you're coming to the Show on Thursday then a visit to the Adnams Boat Bar will give you the perfect excuse to relax in an Adnams deck chair and watch the crowds for a while whilst enjoying a refreshing drink. You can find the Adnams Boat Bar and the Cellar & Kitchen Beach Hut store near to the Dereham Gate, and the Adnams Copper House Spirits stand inside the Food Hall situated near to the cattle judging rings. Cattle at The Royal Norfolk ShowNew on the Boat Bar this year is Fat Sprat, brewed in support of the Marine Conservation Society. It's the perfect summer ale at 3.8% abv. Also fresh from the brewery is the latest in the innovative Jack Brand range of beers - Clump Sagin Rye IPA at 5% abv. Both beers were attracting lots of interest today - if you're at the Show on Thursday come and have a taste for free and let us know what you think. Accompanying Fat Sprat and Clump Sagin on the bar are Southwold Bitter, Broadside, Ghost Ship and Spindrift. You can also find a range of Adnams wines and spirits - why not ask the Boat Bar team for one of their G&Ts? On the first day of the Show we had a special visit by award-winning winemaker Dr John Forrest, who was showing his delicious range of New Zealand wines. It was also a great pleasure to see a small company from our affiliated partners HMS Dauntless, who were taking part in the 'Salute to the Armed Forces' parade in the Grand Ring. You can view images of the first day of the Show on Flickr. The gates open at 8.30am and close for entry at 6pm. You can find out more about the Show here.
