Adnams at Jimmy’s Sausage & Beer Festival 2015

Jimmy's Sausage & Beer Festival mug 2015After a night of torrential rainfall, the hardy Adnams Events Team emerged from their tents at Jimmy’s Farm to offer Jimmy's Sausage & Beer Festival-goers a huge range of Adnams beers - the widest of any events this season. This year, we teamed up with our friends at Aspall’s to run a bar showcasing superb Suffolk ciders alongside Adnams beers, wines and spirits. Visitors to the Adnams & Aspall bar, situated near to the main stage, could enjoy a choice of Adnams Lighthouse, Southwold Bitter, Fat Sprat, Topaz Gold, Ghost Ship, Jimmy’s Festival Special, Broadside, Spindrift, Mosaic, Dry Hopped lager, Blackshore Stout, Crystal Rye IPA and Innovation as well as Aspall’s full range of delicious ciders. It’s a two-day event but even the most studious of festival-goers would have trouble sampling everything on offer at Jimmy’s this year. Shindig in the Veg gardenSaturday day tickets sold out well in advance of the event, but many visitors chose to camp to make sure that they could enjoy the festival well into the night, waking up on site freshly showered to do it all again the next day. There’s plenty to keep all the family entertained with two music stages, a market, cookery demonstrations and a Kids Zone. If you’re going to Jimmy’s tomorrow, Sunday tickets can be purchased in advance or on the gate. Gates open at 11am and close at 11pm. Adult tickets are £17.50, Child £10, Family (2 adults, 2 children) £50. It’s worth noting that the roads leading up to the farm are quite narrow and queues can be expected, so leave plenty of time for your journey. You can view images of Saturday’s festival on Flickr.
