Adnams Blackshore Stout

Brewed with Pale Ale, Brown, Chocolate, Double Roasted Crystal and Roasted Barley malts, this stout is brimming with coffee and chocolate flavours, hints of liquorice and dark fruits. Hopped with Phoenix and other British hops.

What's the story?

Blackshore Stout is named after the black-tarred fishing huts which line Southwold Harbour. Blackshore Stout is available all year round in 30L kegs. Commenting on our Blackshore Stout Fergus Fitzgerald said, “For a long time in Ireland drinking a good beer meant drinking stout, it was the high tide mark of brewing and although there are now some great beers in Ireland I still think of stout as being an essential part of any beer range. Our interpretation has all the elements of a good dry stout with chocolate and coffee flavours with a hint of raisin and liquorice, but most importantly you can ask the barman to draw a shamrock in the head, although given its origins it may end up being a beach hut."

Food matches

Blackshore Stout is delicious with crab, oysters or dark chocolate puddings. (Contains barley and oats).
