If you are looking to host an afternoon of civilised conversation over some delicate delicacies, then try your hand at our summery selection of gorgeous gin cocktails. Like finger sandwiches and crumbly scones, they’re just made for afternoon tea.
Copper House Dry Gin is just made for alfresco drinking and was an obvious pick for our English Garden cocktail. Simple, light and invigorating, with hints of sweetness; this recipe allows Copper House’s prominent sweet orange peel and hibiscus florals to shine as strong as the summer sun.
50ml Copper House Dry Gin
25ml Lemon Juice
20ml Sugar Syrup. Made with 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water
Fresh Basil Leaves
Make your sugar syrup in advance.
To your highball glass, add Copper House Dry Gin and basil then muddle together.
Add your freshly squeezed Lemon Juice and Sugar Syrup.
Fill your glass with crushed ice and use a long spoon to stir together.
Top up with soda water and garnish with a wedge of lime and a sprig of basil.
