Adnams Ipswich Cycle Racing Series at Trinity Park

By sarahhowe, also posted in News on

Entries for 2012 are now open for The Adnams Ipswich Cycle Racing Series at Trinity Park. The series starts on Wednesday 13th June and runs for 6 weeks, catering for all those wanting to compete in road racing. The first year proved such a success with high demand from competitors and this year is expected to be even bigger. Races are held around a short circuit using the roads in Trinity Park in a traffic free environment. At 7 p.m. the Go Race event commences for 30 minutes for those wishing to try out road cycling for the first time. This is followed by the feature race for Elite, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th category riders. Last year’s series was won by the double National Junior Cyclo Cross rider, Hugo Robinson, and saw up to 100 riders competing across the competitions each week. Adnams very own Chris Parker is taking part and spectators are always welcome to cheer on the competitors. It is expected that numbers will increase this year. You can enter on the evening or enter online but please turn up in plenty of time prior to your race start.
