Adnams Chapelfield pop up shop 2013** Please note, this was a temporary Pop-up shop in intu Chapelfields for Christmas 2013.** We've opened a brand new pop-up shop at the intu Chapelfield Shopping Centre in Norwich. The shop opened its doors to the first customers today, 1st October, for a limited time only until the end of the year. The brand new shop is opening as a celebration of all things Adnams, offering customers a lively shopping experience. The shop will offer customers a wide range of Adnams products, including our award-winning selection of beers and handcrafted spirits, as well as Adnams’ own homeware and food ranges. Key to getting the store ready in time was the support of the intu Chapelfield Custody and Community Project, which is designed to help break the cycle of re-offending. Three serving prisoners from HMP Wayland worked hard, with tasks ranging from deep cleaning to redecorating and installing shop fittings. As with all Adnams Cellar & Kitchen stores, knowledgeable and friendly staff will offer free in-store tastings every day plus advice and guidance on beer and spirit selection. Customers can also take advantage of free local delivery. Adnams store Manager Toby Dillaway at Chapelfield 2013Toby Dillaway, manager of the new Adnams pop-up shop, said: “It is really exciting for us to be opening a brand new pop-up store in the intu Chapelfield Shopping Centre.  We are offering free-local delivery to try and make customers’ shopping experience as easy as possible, which will be especially handy for shoppers battling the Christmas crowds. The store will only be open for a limited time, from the 1st October to the 31st December, but we hope to see lots of customers during that time! “We are really thankful for the support from the intu Chapelfield Custody and Community Project – the team has been a tremendous help in making sure the store looks fantastic ahead of our opening day. “We’ve had a really exciting year, with our head brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald being awarded Brewer of the Year by the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group Awards and the Adnams’ Copper House Distilled Gin winning the prestigious Gin Trophy at this year’s International Wine and Spirit Competition. This shop opening is the perfect way to celebrate this year’s achievements.” Davina Tanner, General Manager, intu Chapelfield, comments on the shop opening, “We are really pleased to welcome Adnams back to intu Chapelfield in their new pop-up shop. It was really important for Adnams that the shop was ready to move in to, without them having to do lots of re-fitting work. As part of the intu Chapelfield Custody and Community Project (CCC), three serving prisoners from HMP Wayland helped to get the store ready; deep cleaning, painting and installing shop fittings. Wayland Prison has only recently got involved with CCC and this was a huge step for them – taking a totally new approach to the rehabilitation of prisoners. The Wayland prisoners benefitted enormously from getting involved in a project where they could see the results of their hard work and, of course, Adnams have a lovely new pop-up store to move into.” Adnams has a permanent Cellar & Kitchen Store based on Unthank Road.
