Adnams Southwold 10k Training Plan

For those lucky 800 who managed to get a space on our 10k run on November 20th, which sold out in record time this year, Gary Matthews has created a training guide for us. Gary, who is a keen runner and cyclist, runs Gem Fitness in Southwold, and has started our 10K a number of times alongside Jonathan Adnams. Our Southwold course is suitable for both beginners and experienced runners, so Gary has devised two guides to help you train, depending on your level of experience; for those who wish to finish under an hour and those who are little more advanced who aim to run it in under 50 minutes. Even if you didn't manage to get a place this year, Gary's guide will come in handy to use when preparing for your other races. Adnams 10k 2015 raceThe guide is an 8-week plan, starting Monday 26th of September, and gives a day-by-day plan of what training to do as well as rest days.
