Royal Norfolk Show 2014 logoWe’re delighted to announce that we’re sponsoring the food & drink hall at this year’s Royal Norfolk Show to be held on 25 and 26 June. The ‘Adnams Food & Drink Experience’ will play host to a number of show stands, each showcasing the very best food and drink from across the county.  Adnams has exhibited at the Norfolk Show for the last 4 years but this is the first time that we have sponsored the show’s popular food and drink hall. As well as agricultural attractions, performances and displays, the food and drink hall will allow visitors the opportunity to purchase an array of local produce, either to eat at the show or enjoy at home. As well as enjoying Adnams beers, wine and spirits from our boat bar, located by the Dereham Road entrance, visitors will be able to sample and buy a wide range of Adnams goodies from the colourful Beach Hut stand in the centre of the Adnams Food & Drink Experience. Other regional exhibitors include Breckland Orchard, Brays Cottage and Elveden Foods along with a full line up of chefs and speakers including Adnams’ Head Brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald. Emma Hibbert, Head of Corporate Affairs at Adnams, commented, “We are delighted to be working together with the Norfolk Agricultural Association, in support of the Royal Norfolk Show. Sheep judging at The Royal Norfolk Show“We have enjoyed being an exhibitor at the show for the past few years, and are excited to be stepping up our involvement this year. The Adnams Food & Drink Experience celebrates Norfolk’s proud farming and producer heritage.  We’re looking forward to a busy few days and hopefully the weather will be kind to ensure a great turnout.” “The ‘Adnams Food & Drink Experience’ is one of the biggest county show food halls in the country packed with almost 70 trade stands promoting and selling a huge variety of foods and drinks - the majority of which are grown and produced right here in our region,” says Greg Smith, Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association Chief Executive. “Along with free tastings in the food hall, you’ll also be able to watch some of the finest chefs in the region in the Cookery Theatre, including Galton Blackiston and Richard Bainbridge.  We’re also delighted to welcome Adnams’ Head Brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald and popular TV chef and author James Martin, who will be hosting three cookery demonstrations a day in the theatre. “A visit to the food hall will definitely be one of your show highlights!”
