Adnams Winter Spiced When the leaves start to drop from the trees, we know that it's time to release our heart-warming Winter Spiced Liqueur! We've kept the recipe the same as last year - Adnams Copper House Barley Vodka, Pimento berries (allspice) and a touch of demerara sugar - but we've kept the filtration to a minimum in order to retain even more flavour. John McCarthy with Adnams Barley VodkaHead Distiller John McCarthy comments, "Winter Spiced is a warming liqueur with flavours of creamy vanilla, nutmeg and clove. It's great after a big lunch or a long winter walk." Why not try it in a cocktail? Spiced Winter Flip 50ml Adnams Winter Spiced Liqueur 1 fresh egg 15ml sugar syrup 15ml cream Shake the egg and Adnams Winter Spiced Liqueur together to emulsify. Add ice, sugar syrup and cream and shake again. Fine strain into a Martini glass and garnish with grated nutmeg. Spiced Apple 35ml Adnams Winter Spiced Liqueur Cloudy apple juice Warm the apple juice and add to the Adnams Winter Spiced Liqueur in a hurricane glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
