In a large saucepan, drizzle vegetable oil. Brown 800g minced beef alongside 1 diced onion and 2 teaspoons of salt. After the meat has browned, reduce to medium heat. Add 3 cloves of garlic, 3 tablespoons of chili powder, 1 tablespoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of paprika and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir in well before adding one can (330ml) of Ghost Ship 0.5%, 250ml tomato puree and 400ml of water (or slowly add more if necessary). Stir well, then simmer for 30 minutes. Add diced green pepper and kidney beans, then simmer for another 30 minutes until all the vegetables are soft and tender. Optional: serve with a generous dollop of sour cream and chives.
