Five wines at £5

Five wines at £5   **Please note that our Wine Sale ended at the end of January 2012** The time when you could get a good wine for £5 has sadly passed, until now! Here are five top quality wines reduced to £5, a saving of £2.99 (all were £7.99 a bottle). You can discover more in our stores. Seidelberg Rosé2010 Seidelberg Estate, Rosé, Paarl, South Africa Was £7.99, now £5, save £2.99 A raspberry-scented, aromatic rosé made from the Muscat Noir variety. Quite traditional in style - almost like an Anjou - it is slightly sweet, which means it's delicious with gently spicy Asian-inspired foods featuring chilli. Seidelberg Estate is now owned by Charles Back, but this 2010 comes from the original owner and creator of the Estate - Roland Seidel. Bio, Piccinini2010 Bio, Domaine Piccinini, Vin de Pays d'Oc Was £7.99, now £5, save £2.99 A tasty organic red made from Syrah by Jean-Christophe Piccinini. Grown in the Minervois, where abundant sun, and a much-appreciated breeze from the sea keeps the vines healthy. This is perfect with hearty winter stews and roast meats. Rioja, Rioja Vega2010 Rioja, Garnacha y Graciano, Rioja Vega Was £7.99, now £5, save £2.99 This friendly wine is a throughly modern approach to Rioja. A blend of Garnacha and Graciano, it's full of sweet red berry aromas, with a juicy palate and a good tannic structure to keep everything in balance. Serve this with slow cooked beef and white beans, or spicy chorizo stew. Saint-Eugenie2010 Domaine Saint-Eugenie Rosé, Corbières Was £7.99, now £5, save £2.99 This wine makes us long for the warmer months! It's gentle and soft, with delicate aromas of raspberries and squashy red fruits, but with a nice clean bite at the finish. It's a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, and medium in body, so does equally well served on its own or with salad dishes. BEB Rose2009 .BEB Rosé, Tiago Cabaço, Estremoz, Portugal Was £7.99, now £5, save £2.99 Already great value at £7.99, this is a wine that has to be tried. It's fresh and fruity with vibrant red fruit aromas and flavours. Made using modern methods but made from ancient vines, this is perfect served on its own, or pair with cold meats such as chicken or turkey. You can view our wine sale here, and there's even more Bin Ends in store.
