Help us support the EDP’s Fighting for the Vulnerable Campaign

Pennies The Digital Charity Box logoIn October last year, we reached a brilliant total of £50,000 since the Pennies Scheme was launched in our Adnams stores. Since then, Adnams customers have donated a fantastic £4,775.99 in support of Halesworth Community Nursing Care Fund. This money will be put towards the cost of building a new information and support centre for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in north east Suffolk and south Norfolk. Charities benefitting from the Pennies Scheme are regularly refreshed, and over the festive period Adnams customers donated their spare change from credit and debit card purchases to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance and raised a spectacular £6,198.83. EDP Fighting for the Vulnerable 2015 campaign logoOver the next few months we are asking our customers to support the EDP’s Fighting for the Vulnerable Campaign in conjunction with the Norfolk Community Foundation. This campaign aims to support vulnerable people across Norfolk, such as people suffering from mental health issues, the lonely elderly, the homeless and people receiving social care. As well as supporting individuals, the money raised will also go towards helping Norfolk-based charities and community groups working with the most vulnerable and at risk in Norfolk. You can find out more about the Pennies scheme here.
