The Tom Bowdidge FoundationYou can help raise vital funds for The Tom Bowdidge Foundation by donating your spare pennies when you shop in our stores and at our online store using 'Pennies', the Digital Charity Box. Thanks to our amazing customers, a total of £8,660.79 was raised for our previous charity, Annie's Challenge (which received donations from 1st February until 1st May). The Tom Bowdidge Foundation funds projects which support teenagers and young people suffering from cancer. The charity was founded in 2014 in memory of teenage cancer sufferer and inspirational fund-raiser Tom Bowdidge. Tom died of a desmoplastic small round cell tumour and extensive peritoneal disease at the age of 19. Tom and his familyThe Tom Bowdidge Foundation was founded and launched by Tom's parents, Richard and Nikki, on what would have been Tom's 20th birthday. The Foundation works on projects that provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help teenagers and young people cope with their cancer diagnosis. The Tom Bowdidge Foundation is currently funding a major research project into teenage cancers with specific reference to sarcoma research. You can find out more about The Tom Bowdidge Foundation here. Thank you for helping us make a difference by donating your Pennies - every single one really does help!
