Jimmy's Sausage & Beer Festival 2014

Jimmy's festival beer mug filled with Adnams beerPhew, what a scorcher! The sausages weren't the only things getting a roasting today at Jimmy's Farm. With temperatures reaching 30 degrees celsius, hats, flip-flops and suncream were must-have items on the first of a two-day celebration of all things sausage and beer at Jimmy's. For 2014's festival, Jimmy and his team have introduced camping on site, so festival goers can enjoy themselves well into the night, waking up on site freshly showered to do it all again the next day. There's plenty to keep everyone occupied too, with live music on two stages, cookery demonstrations and a Kids Zone to keep the little ones amused. Adnams bar at Jimmy's Sausage and Beer Festival 2014Adnams has brought the widest range of beers of the 2014 events season to the festival. On cask, festival goers can enjoy Adnams Lighthouse, Southwold Bitter, Fat Sprat, Topaz Gold, Jimmy's Festival Special, Explorer, Ghost Ship. Broadside and Tally Ho. On keg, there's Spindrift, Jack Brand Innovation, Mosaic and Dry Hopped Lager. Finally, in bottle is Jack Brand Crystal Rye IPA. The festival opens again tomorrow at noon and finishes at 9pm. Entry wristbands are available at the gate: £15 adults, £10 children or £45 for a family. You can find out more about Jimmy's Sausage and Beer festival here.
