Aldeburgh Food and Drink FestivalSaturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September 2017 If you love fabulous food and delicious drinks then you must not miss this year's Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival. Taking place annually in the beautiful surroundings of Snape Maltings, the event showcases local food and drink from nearly 100 producers. Not only is there an amazing array of produce to peruse, there's also two cookery theatres hosting visiting and local Chefs. This year, as well as our Events Truck serving a wide range of Adnams beers (Southwold Bitter, Broadside, Ghost Ship, Nut Brown, Dry Hopped Lager, Mosaic and Earl Grey Lager), wines and spirits and our Beach Hut store, Adnams is hosting a brand new drinks experience for festival-goers. The Adnams Drinks Experience will offer a daily programme of events: Adnams Ghostly Hallows cocktailSaturday 23rd September 10.30am - Tiptree Jam Jar Gin Masterclass 11.30am - Open Tasting Session 12.30pm - The Good, the Bad & The Ugly A tutored tasting with a twist. A light-hearted look at beer critique with our Head Brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald. 1.30pm - Open Tasting Session 2.45pm - Botanical Banter Do you know your Angelica from your Anise? What goes into your gin? We are talking all things botanical with the Adnams ‘Make Your Own Gin’ team 3.30pm - Cooking with beer Join drinks writer and expert Melissa Cole for a full guide on cooking with beer. tasting blackshore stoutSunday 24th September 10.30am - Brew Kitchen Adnams' brewing team explain the brewing process with everyday pots and pans 11.15am - Open Tasting Session 12.30pm - Dressed for Success Armed with his plating tongs, our Head Distiller, John McCarthy, will show you how to impress your friends with beautifully garnished drinks 1.30pm - Open Tasting Session 2.45pm - Beer and food pairing Join drinks writer and expert Melissa Cole as she guides you through matching beers with food.
