Perfect partners; a collaborative approach...

Fairfields Farm Crisps Adnams Ghost ShipCrisps, Sports Gels and, of course beers: what’s next for collaborations at Adnams? Over the last few months we have invited a selection of brands we love to come and have some fun with our beer and spirits and come up with some amazing new products. Collaborations work really well for us in bringing fresh new ideas and helping us reach new fans. Fergus, our Head Brewer, has been welcoming other brewers from around the world to Southwold and the results have reached pubs and shops across the UK. Most recently, David Gaughan from Eagle Brewing in Christchurch, New Zealand, arrived to brew 'Ar Reet' exclusively for JD Wetherspoon's summer beer festival. Did you know we also brew beer for Bill's Restaurants and M&S as well as exclusives for JD Wetherspoons? With the hop season in full bloom we have been collecting bags and bags of customers' own hedgerow finds to create our community beer, Wild Hop. Through our sponsorship of food and drink festivals across East Anglia we had got to know Fairfields Farm Crisps, and Ghost Ship crisps have proven so popular that they are now available all-year-round in pubs, The East of England Coop and Adnams' own stores. Linking up with our sponsorship of The Women’s Tour and The Tour of Britain, the gels are a limited edition coming soon - watch this space! For Christmas, we will also be launching our first Adnams Chocolates made for Adnams by Harry Specters. Based in Ely, Cambridgeshire, they are a chocolatier with a great cause. Inspired by their son Ash, who has autism, this social enterprise offers training and employment to people with autism. As well as driving positive social change they are passionate about making the best quality chocolate. And finally we are delighted to have appointed Nor-Folk, a design-led lifestyle brand founded by husband-and-wife graphic designers who just happen to reside in Norwich not far from our home town in Southwold. Nor-Folk will be working on a new clothing range for Adnams which will be launching in the next few months. Fiona from Nor-Folk said “Nor–Folk share a lot of the same values as Adnams – we continue to push boundaries, be experimental, care about our environmental footprint and, above all else, the quality of our products is of paramount importance. Adnams truly lead the way in all of these points, so we are both excited and inspired to be working with Adnams. We create products we love and want in our own lives. We passionately adhere to the sentiment ‘less is more’ and ‘quality over quantity’ in our product creation”. We are really passionate that all the brands and suppliers we work with share our values and vision and we look forward to bringing you even more of these collaborations.
