Wild Hop 2016 - made by you (well, sort of!)

By Sarah Groves, also posted in News on

Wild Hop pump clipAdnams Wild Hop Amber Ale 2016 is now available on cask in selected outlets, and will be online in an Adnams stores in bottles by the end of this week. It's made using fresh, green, wild or garden-grown hops brought into the brewery by our fabulous hop-spotters. Adnams Head Brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald, explains, "We had a really good harvest this year, all donated by our dedicated team of hop-spotters! We had an especially bountiful yield from Mark Dorber at The Anchor in Walberswick and The Swan in Stratford St Mary. This year's brew is looking really good. We've gone for a slightly maltier base this year as we received more hops and I think we've captured that resin, green, grassy note typical of fresh, wet hops."
