Wild wave is like a huge splash in the face, it's that refreshing. Pair this with a hot summer's day spent out in the garden or by the sea. Wild Wave is a delicious blend of bittersweet and dessert apples grown in the foothills of the Malvern Hills.
Wild Wave is our first forray into the world of Cider. Specifically blended for Adnams by head brewer Fergus Fitzgerald and Master of Wine James Davis. We wanted to create a cider that was a perfect blend of bittersweet and dessert apples, which gives it a bit more tannin and heaps of flavour.
With the notable exception of Norman cider (which alas is not easy to acquire in Bramley), I would not have given a can of cider to Granny Smith but then, inspired by the boiling weather in June and being impressed with the rest of Adnam's golden delicious beers, I decided to try Wild Wave. What a discovery. A truly scrumptious cider which is ideal in hot weather. Highly recommended.
very refreshing. I found this cider on a holiday to Suffolk recently and was impressed with the bitter sweet dryness. Compairs very favourably with my favourite and will be a very strong contender if its sold country wide. A must try for cider fans.
What a fantastic drink. On a hot day (or cold) there is a satisfaction you get from the taste of the apples that quenches your thirst. It is a perfect balance either from a tin or a glass. Yet again Adnams has come up with a classic. How can summer get any better¬? with an Adnams in your hand, that’s how
I've just got back from visiting my home county, Suffolk. I've always loved Adnams but I love cider now I get the best of both worlds. Wild Wave is so refreshing and crisp. It is like eating a freshly picked apple. Well done everyone at Adnams. :D
Perfect to cool down on a hot summer day.
Gently effervesscent, fresh but with a distinctive funk and not too sweet, it's a great entry level option for those who find the banyard tang of some traditional ciders a little full-on
