This juicy Session IPA is bursting with citrus aromas and big, bold blood orange and grapefruit flavours, which bring both sweetness and a lightly tart finish to the beer.
The tropical flavours were chosen to complement the citrus characteristics of the hops used, including Mosaic and Chinook.
It's delicious when paired with exotic food such as a gently spiced Moroccan tagine.
Contains Barley and Gluten.
Head Brewer, Fergus Fitzgerald explains how we developed the recipe: “We’ve used blood orange and grapefruit juice to build on the citrus notes found in the hops and enhance their fruity characteristics. We’ve kept things light, with pale ale malt, and chose Mosaic and Chinook hops for their complexity, as well as their tropical fruit flavours, hints of pine and those citrus notes. Adding juice helps balance the bitterness and creates real depth of flavour, making it really approachable, refreshing, and moreish.”
