Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards, 2013.
If you're purchasing a mini-keg, these should be consumed within 1 month of purchase.

Ghost Ship was launched in 2010, originally as a seasonal Halloween beer. The final concept for Ghost Ship would be for a beer light in colour but with a little more sweetness and body from the addition of some caramalt and some rye to our pale ale malt. The Citra hops were complemented by a few other varieties, including Columbus and Centennial, but all the dry hops were Citra.
Contains, Rye, Barley (Gluten)
Followed instructions to open the keg, but snapped off.
Returned for a refund - Very dissapointed!
I’ve watched the video and tried and tried, but cannot get a pint out of a 5 ltr keg in less than 20 minutes. The beer tastes excellent eventually, but a barely visible trickle seems to be the optimum speed. My son in law had exactly the same problem with a keg that he bought so it can’t be down to a faulty keg. They aren’t inexpensive so I was expecting a far better product!!
I really like this ale from a keg but it needs to be drunk fairly quickly as the gas runs down in the keg.
Its a nice hoppy ale with fairly complex flavours and goes well with many food pairings. I've never used it at a bbq but it would be ideal.
Been drinking Adnams beers for nearly 40 years now and Ghostship from the keg is a fantastic beer, as if you're actually in Southwold on the harbour on a sunny evening. won't go all flowery about it, as that's not really my thing but it is just spot on if you are a real ale drinker. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed. Owen Lionnel.
Beautiful beer. Just make sure you'll drink it in a week or so. Not a problem here 😜🍻
Cheaper in mainline supermarkets
Disappointed because the vent cap broke on the can .beer was beautiful sinfully wasted some of the beer as could not drink it all on night of opening can no friends to share with as we’re in lockdown
Using a blend of American hop varieties, expect a variety of citrus flavours. They even recommend enjoying this beer alongside some spicy food, pizza or a summer salad.
