Just a few of the questions we're often asked. If you'd like to know more, please drop us a line and ask.
Here at Adnams, we are passionate about supporting our local community. In 1990, we set up The Adnams Community Trust to celebrate our Adnams Centenary as a public company. It is funded by a percentage of Adnams annual profits, mandated dividends, donations and legacies.
The Trust awards grants to worthy causes within 25 miles of Southwold, grants normally range from £100 to £2500 and are given to:
Health and Social Welfare
We have 45 managed inns and tied properties that all serve delicious Adnams beers, wines and spirits. You can find more about our pubs and properties here.
We currently do not offer overseas delivery. We do have stockists around the world, so let us know if you would like more information on where to find Adnams in your country. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
No, we don’t. At Adnams, we like to work with the great wine producers, and our vineyard owners make the best wines for their region and grape varieties. Our Master of Wine, James Davis, works closely with the vineyards so that all Adnams labelled wines fit perfectly with our sustainability values.
Jonathan Adnams grows several fields of rye that we use for our spirits. We buy a lot of malted barley from local farmers, including Holkham Estate in North Norfolk.

We stock a large variety of products in our stores, in pubs and online. Out of these our Ghost Ship beers, both the 4.5% and 0.5%, are our most popular. For our spirits, everyone’s favourite seems to be our Copper House Dry Gin followed by our Copper House Pink Gin which has a refreshing hit of raspberry. What’s your favourite? Let us know by dropping us line on twitter or facebook.
Our Jack Brand logo has been inspired by a ‘clock Jack’ who lives on St Edmunds Church, we have a replica of Jack on the front of our brewery.
Jack Brand pays homage to the generations of brewers that have come before us and is a very happy marriage of the best of the new with the best of the old. It is a firm nod to our history, with a lively exciting slurp of modern.
We brew a selection of seasonal ales throughout the year, some in collaboration with other breweries. We do this to add variety to our normal offering and to celebrate certain seasons including the festive period. You can find our latest brew calendar here (link to 2019 beer calendar) which will show you our upcoming seasons brews.
We produce a range of products exclusively for Marks and Spencer’s including a range made from leftover bread which would be otherwise discarded. These can only be purchased through Marks and Spencer’s store and online.
We are always looking at ways to minimise our impact on the environment and our carbon footprint. We have already lowered our carbon emissions by running electric vans and adapting some of our lorries to run off bio gas rather than traditional fuel. We have temporarily stopped sending out promotion items such as posters and beer mats to our customers. We hope to resume this as soon as we can. We do not send out labels or bottle caps to customers as we do not hold stock of these items.
Please be aware that if you would like to purchase individual bottles of wine, you will now have to create a case consisting of a minimum of six bottles of wine before you can continue to the checkout and payment.
