For Managed Properties 

We are very fortunate that our pubs and hotels benefit from great coastal and country locations, allowing you enjoy our open spaces, fresh air and sea breezes to relax and take a well-earned break from our current lives.  

Our dining areas, bars, guestrooms, courtyards, and gardens are now all well-spaced to ensure you can easily socially distance, but still enjoy great hospitality.  

Our hygiene and cleanliness standards have been revised and adapted to give you peace of mind and ensure that we are protecting all our guests, teams and the communities that surround and support us.

To make your visit as comfortable and safe as possible we have made the following changes; 

  • TABLE BOOKINGS – You can socialise, drink and dine with up to 6 people at a table either inside or outside. You must continue to socially distance from other households on your table. We strongly recommend you book online or phone in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you’re visiting from a high or higher alert level area, please be aware you must continue to uphold the rules stipulated by your area.

To assist NHS Test and Trace, we require the contact details for the lead host of each table and will keep these safely on file for 21 days.

  • FACE COVERINGS - You must wear a face covering when entering or exiting, and whilst moving around the property. You do not need to wear the face covering at your table.
  • CLOSING TIME - We now close at 10pm (apart from Cross Keys which is 9pm). Please bear this in mind when booking your table to ensure you have a relaxing and leisurely time with us. For those of you staying the night, we’re happy for you to enjoy our drinks in the comfort of your room after closing time.
  • FOOD ORDERING - We are strictly table service only, which hopefully makes for a more relaxing time for you. All our food and drink menus are available online and our team are around to assist you.
  • REDUCED CAPACITIES – To aid social distancing, we are serving fewer people than we used to. Please be patient and understanding with our teams as we do everything we can to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe time.
  • CLEANING – You’ll see lots more hygiene measures in place to keep our beautiful properties clean and safe.

Government guidance, best practise, assessment, and accreditation 

We are following changing Government guidance in detail and working with our industry bodies to ensure we are exemplars of best practise within our industry and that we are reviewing and updating when necessary.  

 

Our risk assessments and kitchen protocols have been amended and our teams have been trained on new policies. Our suppliers and maintenance contractors have been likewise communicated the standards we expect of them when visiting our properties. For complete transparency, please find below these documents so that, should you wish, you can take a look at them in more detail. 

 

Our policies detail that if any of our team begins to show symptoms or are contacted by NHS Track and Trace, they will stop working immediately and we will inform all necessary others that this has happened. We would likewise ask all our guests to show the same cautionary approach.
