More About Delivery
Adnams Head Distiller John McCarthy is rather partial to a Thai curry and as Tamarind has been used as a culinary ingredient in Asian dishes for centuries, he thought it would work perfectly in a gin.
We make all of our award-winning Copper House spirits from grain to glass. The brewing team first create an un-hopped beer, which John then distils into our East Coast Vodka. He then redestils the vodka with tamarind, juniper berries, coriander seeds, orris root, cardamon and lemon peel and the result is distinctive, fruity and sophisticated gin.
Tamarind is a tree which thrives in tropical climates. It produces seed pods that contain an edible sweet and sour pulp, with a distinctive date-like aroma and flavour
Distinctively exotic with a refreshing splash of lemon
Served best with Adnams tonic water, ice and garnished with a zest of lemon
Made from grain-to-glass in our small-batch distillery here in Southwold, the brewing team first brew an un-hopped beer, which Adnams Head Distiller John McCarthy distils into our East Coast Vodka. Using the vodka as a base, John redistils it with juniper berries, coriander, orris root, cardamom, zesty lemon peel and tamarind to create this sophisticatedly fruity and delicious gin.
A Red Rye Ale packed full of flavour.
