Adnams East Coast Vodka is distilled in the heart of Southwold, from a mash bill of 100% East Anglian malted barley. The barley is sent through our brewery, just like one of our beers; but we don’t add hops and instead produce a ‘distillery wash.’ This wash is fermented with Adnams house yeast to around 6% abv, before being sent to the distillery. Our small batch distillation uses authentic copper stills to produce an exceptional spirit with a remarkable depth of flavour. We do not filter this spirit as this means we can retain and hold the intricate flavours of this unique vodka. We are one of only a handful of distilleries in the UK that produce vodka-quality spirits in this manner.
