Adnams seeks to find the finest examples from the world's most renowned wine producing regions. Wines that have character, complexity and truly express how the magic mix of vine, soil, weather and man can come together to create something special. This well-favoured Bannockburn Pinot Noir has Burgundian notes, elegant, earthy, truffle aromas with modern balanced spicy, toasty aromas from subtle use of oak.
The Bannockburn region in the south island of New Zealand, its cool climate has provided the perfect growing conditions for this fickle grape, tamed and carefully made Pinot such as this, are Burgundy-rivalling in quality and style. We think this is a modern classic, made for us by winemaker John Forrest.
