Produced by Jessica & Dario Vezzoli on their tiny 3.5ha plot in the Franciacorta Erbusco region in northern Italy, using hand harvested grapes and only taking the first press juice, their 'Sullali' is a new way of creating Franciacorta.
A modern reinterpretation that produces a dry, extra-brut style using the residual sugars from the first fermentation to kick-start the second fermentation in bottle, giving the lovely brioche notes without adding extra sugar. Aged for 24-months in bottle, this is dry and toasty with fine beaded bubbles with delicate white flower and citrus flavours.
