The Three Thieves refer to themselves as the‘Liberators of Fine Wines’, with the idea that good wine is for everyone. The winemaking project of known-in-their-own-rights Roger Scommegna, Charles Bieler and Joel Gott, with the aim to make fine wines at a fair and honest price, to be enjoyed by all. Chardonnay first undergoes partial malolactic fermentation to enhance aromas and mouthfeel. It’s then fermented on French and American oak, which imparts notes of spice and sweet oak. Citrus and pineapple flavours, and a top note of sweet oak, it’s creamy and full-bodied.

It really seems very fine ..

At the risk of encouraging others to go at this, I first bought a few bottles in a bin end sale. This was really good I thought; I keep telling my son it's not - to my mind - like a typical over-oaked US Chardonnay. It really does feel like a nice interesting white burgundy, Any way I'm now on a second case of a dozen since my first bargain bottles.

£12.99, from California and this good?

What a find! What a wine! The I hate Chardonnay club stay away but for the rest of us it’s stunning! Creamy peach, honey and a well integrated light touch of oak. There’s length on the palate, honeyed fruit on the nose and a beautiful balanced finish! Simply yum yum yum!

Three Thieves

Never been a lover of Chardonnay I was introduced to this by Jan and the team at Adnams Stamford on a wine tasting before Christmas, both my wife and I are truly hooked on this affordable wine great for drinking before a meal and even better with a curry, it's our choice for Christmas 🎄, thanks Jan and the team at Stamford

Three Thieves

I was introduced to this wine by Jan and the team at Adnams Stamford at the Christmas wine tasting, although I'm an Argentine Malbec drinker, I found this California Pinot to be a really nice easy drinking wine, it's our chosen red wine to have with our Christmas bird, I'm sure it will be a favourite in the new year with a chicken Sunday roast not sure how it would go with a roast beef lunch.
