Spindrift bottle October 2013Tasting notes and ingredients

This is a 4.0% golden beer, full of flavour with a crisp refreshing citrus taste, wonderful orange peel aromas and crowned with a full white head from the wheat added to the brew. Brewed from a blend of East Anglian malted barley, Boadicea hops and wheat. Chilled and filtered to retain all the freshness, flavour and aromas of unpasteurised beer.

What’s the story?

Using our craft, skill and brewing expertise we have created a superb modern English speciality beer. With its bright, crisp, refreshing taste and continental-style smooth white head, Spindrift appeals to a wider audience of discerning drinkers and indeed to retailers who wouldn’t normally stock cask beer. Taking its name from the spray off the breaking tops of waves, Spindrift’s full flavour and refreshment captures the essence of Beer From The Coast. A perfect accompaniment to both traditional and spicy cuisines. Spindrift is gently carbonated and dispensed through a bespoke chilled font at a very refreshing 5°C.

Please note: The bottled version was retired in May 2016. Spindrift is now bottled in brown bottles rather than the German-made blue glass bottles. Brown bottles are more eco-friendly, and using brown glass also means that less light gets to the beer, helping to keep it fresher. Contains barley & wheat
