Adnams Nero d'Avola, is made from Sicily’s indigenous grapes and has bold, berried fruit flavours. Another native to Sicily is the Catarratto, Fedele Bianco with its refreshing tropical fruit notes. Gavi di Gavi, is made from Cortese, the peachy white grape variety from Piedmont. Adnams 'Asolo' Prosecco Superiore DOCG comes from the finest vineyards on the southern side of the Venetian Alps, where its climate adds complexity and flavours of peach and melon. Serpaiolo, Rosso Toscana, is from an estate at the foot of the Dolomites, where biodynamic techniques result in flavours of succulent red fruits. Finally, our Doppio Passo Primitivo’s black cherry fruitiness is thanks to the 'Ripasso' style of winemaking. Enjoy these wines alongside hearty Italian stews, tomato dishes, grilled meats, and herbed vegetables.
Wines in this case contain sulphites.
Doppio Passo gets its name from the 'Ripasso' style of winemaking - a technique that involves a short second fermentation on the pulp and skins left over from the first fermentation to give extra body and texture. The winery also uses a proportion of later harvested, super-ripe grapes in the blend to give this wine a silky smooth texture with plump, jammy fruitiness.
Fedele Bianco is an easy-to-drink blend of Catarratto, with a small portion of Inzolia & Grecanico. The three grape varieties are harvested in late September by hand and picked at optimum maturity. The varieties are each fermented separately, then blended together. The wine is then kept on its fine lees until the end of December, prior to bottling. The ageing on the lees gives the wine additional complexity and character. Catarratto contributes structure, viscosity and tropical fruit aromas to the blend, while the other two grape varieties lend this wine its refreshing acidity and citrus fruit flavours. Fedele Bianco is an enjoyable, refreshing, and everyday drinking white wine that offers aromas and flavours of citrus and tropical fruit.
Adnams Nero d'Avola, Sicilia is Ruby red in colour with bold fruit flavours of blackberries, blueberries and mulberries, with a little hint of spice on the finish as well.
